For the past 10 months, we have been searching for the ideal location and are happy to announce that we've finally found it. We have now relocated to a brand-new, spacious office just south of Nottingham.
In 2017, PJS launched with just three members of staff in a shared, backroom office space at Bridgbank's head office in Mansfield, and it’s hard to believe that in just over two years we have tripled in size and can now boast about having our own front door!
Our new location is set on a rural farm business park at Winking Hill Farm. Close to Ratcliffe-on-Soar and just 2 miles from Nottingham City Centre it boasts fantastic transport links. It is located just off the A453 which connects to Junction 24 of the M1 and is only a short distance from both Nottingham’s Clifton Tram Stop and East Midland’s Parkway Train Station. Surrounded by green fields, Winking Hill Farm is set within an attractive rural location which is just perfect for our consulting and geotechnical teams.
With three main offices, a kitchen and boardroom space the team are much happier with the extra leg room and desk space which will make all the difference to those planning meetings. The picturesque old brick buildings are surrounded by farm land which is quiet and offers plenty of outdoor space for those fresh air breaks during the day.
With the new location and ample parking space, including the upcoming provision of two electric car charging points, the team are finding the commute to the office more convenient and have collectively reduced travel time by approximately 25% which not only reduces our environmental impact but also reduces the amount of time our staff spend commuting.
Managing Director, Paul Smith comments “We work flexibly and, on those occasions when we are working collaboratively, the team are much happier not having to spend their time commuting to the office. Equally, they don’t lose that precious time in travelling home either. In an industry where productivity and stress are heavily linked, we believe that our new office surrounding as well as the reduced commute will hugely benefit health and wellbeing of our employees.”
With more staff joining us before the end of the year the new space will also give us room to continue to expand and grow the business.
